These meetings are open for all parents to attend in our District regardless if you participate in your school PAC you are welcome to attend and listen to the triumphs and concerns the school PAC's are bringing to the DPAC.

Every school in our district should have a DPAC representative on their school's PAC executive, to be the voice of their school at the District level (DPAC). As per our Constitution and Bylaws, section VI, membership, subsection 1) we require your PAC to submit the name of your current DPAC rep through a DPAC membership google form by the call of the AGM to order. https://dpacsd8.weebly.com/uploads/4/1/0/1/4101171/constitution___bylaws_-_june_2024.pdf  Only the PAC's that have filled in the Google registration form are considered in good standing and only their duly elected DPAC rep will have the right to vote at the AGM.  2024-2025 DPAC Membership Form  If you are having trouble filling out the form please contact dpac.

DPAC is still accepting nominations with bio's of the candidates to circulate before the election.  If you would like to run or nominate someone for a position please let us know.  Please reach out to the nominee and have them send in their bio to this email.

Below we have included the Bio's of the candidates that we have received to date.

A note to our School PAC's please read over the Bio's and instruct your DPAC rep how to vote at the AGM.  They are the voice of your collective PAC and vote as your proxy.

Our district values the parent voice in our children's education and DPAC is your PAC's voice at the district table.  Let's keep informed so we can maintain a strong voice when advocating for our children.

DPAC is always gathering feedback on any topics of interest/concern to parents in our district, please get in touch.

Thank you,

SD8 DPAC
