Pink T-Shirt Day - February 26, 2020
It's the annual kindness campaign! If your child has a shirt from a previous year that they have outgrown, they can bring it along and share it with someone who may need a pink shirt. The Pink T-Shirt Day Society (www.nobullies.ca) has also donated t-shirts for our students - about 1/2 of our kids will get a free shirt again this year!
Each year, on Pink T-Shirt Day, the Pink T-Shirt Day Society encourages people to wear something pink to symbolize that we as a society will not tolerate bullying anywhere.
It is so important that victims of bullying know they are not alone and there is help and support available. Wearing a pink shirt on this day sends a strong message to them that others care. Often, the simple act of wearing a shirt can start conversations - conversations can be a big step towards healing and helping!
Please take the message and remember it all year long.
