Heather's class had an inspiring and thought-provoking lesson from Astrid Heyerdahl, Nelson Museum's Executive Director. She spoke about Museums 'call to action' on Repatriation, about provenance, the origin stories of artifacts. The class was spellbound as they learned about local efforts, on a world scale. This fits in beautifully with the classes theme on ancient Civilizations. With support and guidance from teacher Heather Vardy, they are taking there learning outside of the classroom and are reaching out to museums throughout the world.  I will keep you all posted.
