Today the students were treated to a performance by classical guitarist, Emma Rush, where she played music and introduced kids to female composers throughout history and spoke about why we don't know about them.
COVID is still circulating in our community and in our schools. It is important to keep your child home from school if they are ill, regardless of the source of the illness.
Each family will have received a box of rapid tests from the school, and more tests can also be picked up at your local pharmacy.

Yesterday was a special day for all students in SD8 and SD20, but also from the hard work and creative energy brought forth from The Pink T-Shirt Day Society volunteer directors, one being our own - Anne (Epic Clerical and Humanitarian). Anne shares in highlighting this important day with the students at Wildflower. We appreciate all that you do Anne, within our school community and beyond!
B.C.’s Health Ministry is setting up the distribution of millions of COVID-19 rapid antigen tests to schools, with take-home kits to be distributed to students for their use if they develop symptoms of illness. We have received our first delivery of these tests at our school to be distributed to our students.
