Linda’s class at Wildflower Creston has been working on a community garden at Spectrum farms, who received a grant to help bring pollinators to the gardens – inclusive of butterflies.

Wildflower School Community sets a heartfelt intention towards our National Day for Truth and Reconciliaiton!

The District staff and Teachers have been busy getting the learning environments at both Wildflower sites ready to go. We want to extend a big thank you to the custodians who have worked so hard to deep clean and polish these beautiful spaces.

Students in Creston are loving thier new playgroud. Wtih this new addition, both Wildflower sites get the pleasure of an outside learning space and stage. Further focus on growing the Nelson side is in motion. Stay tuned.

As we get ready to welcome new children to our Seedlings Class, their teacher has prepared a book for parents to share with their children.

The seedlings class participated in Pink T-Shirt day by wearing their pink shirts, doing activities, and reading books that teach about empathy, compassion, and kindness. One of the activities the class did was called "wrinkled heart". The students all had a paper cut out heart and Emma asked the them for examples of things that people say or do that hurts their feelings.
