For the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, the seedlings class learned about Indigenous Peoples, and how our Indigenous Peoples have not always been treated with kindness. We created heart art to show our love to Indigenous Peoples and we read some beautiful read-alouds: When We Are Kind and My Heart Fills with Happiness (both written by Monique Gray Smith).
